LOSAP stands for Length of Service Award Program. It's a retirement benefit program for volunteer firefighters and emergency responders, rewarding them based on their years of service and participation. It's designed to recognize and incentivize their dedication to serving their communities.
Education in the Fire Service
Matawan Fire Department sends all of its members to Fire 1 and Fire 2. The department looks to provide ongoing education and training by scheduling regular training and education classes throughout the year. This approach helps maintain a high level of readiness and professionalism within the department.
Free Building Permits
Matawan Borough provides all Volunteers with free building permits within town.
Reduced Party Hall Rental Rate
